Spatial installation

The installative work, consisting of three disparate parts: a self-forged sword, a Buddha head made of soil, and a projection mapping with moving clouds sketches a nexus of how we consume symbolic signs and how their subject is formed.

In the allegory of Buddhist metaphysics, the blade depicted in some iconographic figures cuts the nebulous veil of ignorance and serves as a spiritual tool for attaining perfect wisdom.

With the view into the sky, the first philosophy was born. At the very least, it evoked the notion of higher entities influencing the earthly. This reading is archetypal for the existential search for meaning and significance.

In the spatial installation "Emulation & Archetypes," computer-animated cloud images move from one direction to the other on multiple levels of projection. Their linear trajectory creates the familiar way we decipher writing systems. Their outlines can be read as signs. As ideologized symbols that unify collective guiding images and elevate them to higher ground, transposing them into hypostasis. In the center of the room, an oversized Buddha-head formed of soil looks up. Inside it there is a channel from the forehead to the mouth. The design is a replica of a pipe construction and is referred to as "Kissing Mother Earth" by esoteric-affine stoners. The smoke is placed on the forehead, then stoked and consumed through the mouth opening.

Tract

Angel seminars - usually they are offered to enable participants to have a spiritual interaction with guardian angels.

In my seminar, however, I show how everyone can climb the Jacob's Ladder themselves to follow their own transcendental path. Through daily practice, you too can enter the circle of ascended masters. Take your destiny into your own hands and draw your ticket to Nirvana.

Ceramics

Form and function - and what intensity follows from it. The idea of sitting, the social position or the idea of the body mass index are concepts that can manifest themselves in the shape of a chair. Their ergonomics are oriented towards a communal norm and at the same time define their antagonistic counterpart, the human being.

Performance/Installation

For the ban of platic straws from the year 2020, which had come into force in the EU, I conceived together with Jeronim Horvat a sustainable equivalent, which was processed from bones. As a spatial installation, the Thanatos Bar was intended to depict the vanitas motif of Romanticism. In this, the pair of opposites Eros and Thanatos symbolizes how closely the libido is related to destruction.

We took our cue from the morphology of the bunker-like structure of Cabane B in Bern, Switzerland, to create an end-time scenario and adopted this fiction for our planned show, which was to take place there during the final spurt of summer 2020. The Thanatos Bar was envisaged as a happening and equipped with an altar, a fog machine, laser apparatuses and decorated by plants and candles. In front of the entrance, visitors were allowed to make a self-poured cup from beeswax, from which they consumed their cocktails with the help of bones. When you got inside, you passed through laser beams that served as a gateway. The evening was accompanied with sacral music, like Enigma.

Among other things, the motif staged herein depicted the vernissage as an independent medium of art and was intended to depict hedonism in its grace and sacrilege.

Campaign

The slogan "Adorno changed my Life" was created as a T-shirt motif for a fictitious campaign. The 150x copies were distributed on different occasions and show how representative gestures substitute political or enlightening actions.

Sustainability Plan

What morals do we need to overcome to create the most sustainable utopia of all utopias. It should conserve resources, incorporate innovative technologies and regulate gender equality.
